Johnny Depp joined good friend Ryan Adams onstage Thursday night during a show at Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London. Depp played guitar on two songs, “Kim” from Adams’ eponymous album released Sept. 9, and a blues-tinged cover of “Mother,” the Danzig metal classic.
Depp looked pretty comfortable with the band and the audience was, naturally, thrilled—especially when he took on the epic guitar solo originally played by John Christ. It’s not the first time Depp has dueted with alt-rock/country musician Adams— he played guitar on the B-side track of Adams’ “Aching For More,” released earlier this summer.
