Wiz Khalifa nabs first No. 1 album with 'Blacc Hollywood'

Wiz Khalifa can officially add "chart-topper" to his resume.

The rapper has had a slew of big hit songs over the course of his career, but nabbed his first No. 1 album this week with "Blacc Hollywood." The album tops the Billboard 200 chart with 90,000 copies sold in its first week, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Khalifa's "Rolling Papers" and "O.N.I.F.C.," released in 2011 and 2012 respectively, both peaked at No. 2 on the chart.

"I feel super proud of it because I put a lot of work into it," Khalifa tells The Insider's Keltie Knight in an interview airing on Thursday. "Not only that, but I just believe in it so much."

Khalifa told Knight that all of his lyrics can be traced back to real life and that his new role as a husband and father has made his life "more structured."

"It just makes me put everything into its place," he said. "I got my career, I got my fans, I got my family time. I do a little bit of everything and it makes me complete."

Khalifa also nabbed the No. 1 slot on Billboard 's R&B/Hip-Hop albums chart and the Rap albums chart this week.

Last week's Billboard 200 chart-topper, the "Guardians of the Galaxy" soundtrack, slides to No. 2 this week, while country star Chase Rise rounds out the top three with his new entry, "Ignite the Night."
