Peugeot Club Malaysia offers to pay for damage incurred by man in 'Kuantan road bully' incident

PETALING JAYA: Peugeot Club Malaysia has offered to pay for all damage incurred by the elderly man in the “Kuantan road bully incident”.

The offer was posted on the club’s Facebook page on Wednesday

“We in Peugeot Club Malaysia do not condone any physical violence to humans or vehicles in any circumstance.

Uncle, we are happy to assist you to our recommended workshop around Malaysia and pay for the repairs of your car. Please leave your contacts in our inbox and we will get back to you shortly,” it said.

Peugeot Club Malaysia is a non-profit club for owners of the French-made car.

The video of the incident, which occurred in Kuantan, was uploaded onto YouTube and instantly went viral.

In the video, Siti Fairrah Ashykin, also known as Kiki, is seen verbally abusing Sim Siak Heong and repeatedly hammering his vehicle with her steering lock, demanding that he pay her RM2,000 on the spot for the purported damage caused to her brand-new Peugeot 208 car.

The club also offered to pay for Kiki’s anger management classes.

“And to the lady, we do have some anger management class for you too. Please apply within and of course, the bill will be on us.

Kiki has since apologised for the incident with Sim graciously accepting it.
