New details are surfacing about the pre-VMAs bash hosted by Chris Brown at Los Angeles 1OAK nightclub that resulted in a shooting. The party, which went into the early morning hours of Sunday, Aug. 24, turned violent around 1:35 a.m. PT when shots were fired. Famed producer Suge Knight was shot six times and is currently recovering after surgery, TMZ reports.
A source also reveals to Us Weekly that reality stars Kendall and Kylie Jenner attended the party prior to the shooting, sneaking in the back to hang out with pal Chris Brown. The runway model, 18, and her younger sister, 17, were escorted to the back with some security guards and went unnoticed for most of their stay.
The insider says the girls were only there for 45 minutes and left before any of the chaos broke out. Earlier in the day, they attended a Madden Girl event at Nordstrom in Downtown Seattle.
Neither sister has mentioned the shooting on social media, but Brown tweeted hours later, writing, "It's disappointing that we as a society can't have fun or enjoy ourselves without any altercations sometimes. Miss me with the bullshit!!!"
