Christina Aguilera has jumped on the never-ending Demi Moore bandwagon by stripping off for a naked photo shoot to bare her large baby bump for V magazine, admitting that she’s never felt more “proud” to flaunt her body despite being heavily pregnant.
More power to her! In the simplistic photo, the Voice coach, who is currently expecting her second child, but first with fiance Matthew Rutler, can be seen throwing her head back while using one hand to protect her cleavage and exposing her growing baby bump with no clothes on.
The photo was taken by Brian Bowen Smith after Christina, who has long been a fan of his work, contacted him to capture her in one of her most intimate moments ever.
Explaining why she’s decided to bare all at such a late stage in her pregnancy, Christina told the publication: “As a woman, I'm proud to embrace my body through all stages of life, staying fearless and confident in surrendering to the unknowns the future has in store.”
Dad-to-be Matt also joins Christina in another photo on the shoot, tenderly kissing the singer’s forehead as she lays on the floor on her back while holding onto her bump.
The couple, who have been dating since 2010, got engaged on Valentine’s Day this year and shared the joyful news that they’re expecting their first child in March.
It’ll be the second child for Christina who is already mother to six-year-old son Max whom she shares with ex-husband Jordan Bratman.
Other celebrities to bare their baby bumps for magazine shoots since Demi Moore started the trend in 1991 for Vanity Fair, include Miranda Kerr, Mariah Carey and Britney Spears.
