Kim Kardashian told pregnant women to cover themselves up with a blanket and stay in the house, when asked about maternity style advice in a recent interview. But when people starting hating on the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star for the comments, she insisted it was all a joke.
Kim's known for a lot of things, sex tapes, her butt, marrying people - comedy isn't one of them. Getting all annoyed about the backlash Kim took to Twitter to explain she was being sarcastic. She wrote over the weekend: "I guess you can't be sarcastic when doing interviews! I was asked about tips on pregnancy style....."
She went on: "I jokingly said pregnant woman should hide/stay in if they looked like I did lol. I said ask Kourt her tips bc she has the best preg style,"
"I really should start video taping the interviews I do & post on my website so u can see the laughs & how it's really said."

The comments were made to Elle magazine recently, in a joint interview with sisters Kourtney and Khloe: "I recommend hiding for a good year and having no pregnancy style."
"That’s what I recommend," she explained. "If you can do it, hide. Never leave the house."
Yeah, we don't want to come over there and tell Americans how sarcasm works, but Kim, that just didn't. Baring in mind, the mum of baby North has spoken at length about how difficult she found pregnancy and the criticism about her appearance, it's a bit of a turn around to suddenly be laughing about it.
Khloe didn't seem to get Kim's joke either and said: "Okay, well that’s not practical," "Give a different answer."
Hilarious Kim replied: "That’s really my recommendation." "Wear a huge blanket," she added.
Kim needs to brush up on her comedy skills, just saying.
The reality TV star did have some styling advice for babies though: "North doesn't really like pink. Like, she's very neutral…she doesn't like prints. She hasn't liked it for her whole life," Kim added.
Pointing out the one year-old might not actually have developed such strong taste, Kourtney added: "Kim and Kanye determine, and that's what parents do."
"Kim and Kanye don't like pink or prints."
But what is baby North like then? Apparently pretty cool. Her aunt Khloe revealed: "She's like badass. Like, 'I'm North.' She's very confident in who she is,"
"I will say that. And P is like submissive and sweet. North is very sweet, but North is like 'Hi,' like she bosses people around."
