Enter Kendall Jenner, who arrived in Cannes to support her supermodel brethren dressed in the new skirt of the season.
Her high-waisted Sally LaPointe skirt cascades on the street thanks to a cape-like finish, and it works double-duty, providing lightness and maximum breathability. While Jenner paired the piece with a lattice-like 3.1 Phillip Lim crop top, the skirt can easily transition to the workplace with fancy flats and a tailored tissue turtleneck sweater; for a night out, take a cue from Jenner and and add metallic strappy sandals (Jenner’s are from Sophia Webster) and a slinky camisole.
