Victoria’s Secret is reportedly interested in signing the reality star to be an Angel, according to In Touch Weekly.
Jenner has made a name in the fashion world by appearing in shows for high-end designers including Chanel, Marc Jacobs and Givenchy, and a source tells the site that the lingerie brand is interested in Kim Kardashian’s little sister due to “all the buzz she got from walking in New York Fashion Week.”
"They’d love to lock in a contract with her,” the insider added.
Reps for Jenner and Victoria’s Secret have not yet responded to the Daily News’ request for comment.
Another indication that the brunette beauty could be in contention for the plum gig is her appearance in “Angels,” a book of photographs from longtime Victoria Secret photographer Russell James.
The book, due out on shelves later this month, features revealing portraits of Jenner as well as supermodels Gisele Bundchen, Adriana Lima, Karlie Kloss and Candice Swanepoel — all of whom have donned angel wings for Victoria’s Secret.
The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star shared a photo from a shoot with James on Instagram last fall, which showed her sporting wet hair and exposing her breasts through a see-through top.
Jenner attended the launch party held for “Angels” earlier this month and has not been shy about expressing her Angel aspirations. In a March 2013 interview with Cosmopolitan, she described the Victoria’s Secret fashion show as her “dream modeling job.”
Perhaps she’ll get her chance this year: Victoria’s Secret is holding its annual fashion show on Dec 2. in London. The event will air on CBS one week later on Dec. 9.
