The ‘Harry Potter’ actress Emma Watson stood up for her friend Jennifer Lawrence after her nude photos goes viral on internet.
The British star has been named as a UN Goodwill Ambassador few days back and took a micro-blogging website Twitter to take her stance against the latest controversy.
She said, “Even worse than seeing women’s privacy violated on social media is reading the accompanying comments that show such a lack of empathy”.
Many websites took immediate actions against sharing such inappropriate pictures and blocked the accounts which shared the photos still, the ‘private’ images of many celebrities goes viral on internet. So far, Kirsten Dunst, Kate Upton and Jennifer Lawrence have all acknowledged the images are genuine and are not edited.
FBI is investigating the issue and looking for the people responsible for hacking the celebrity iCloud account.
