Jennifer Lopez teams up with Michelle Obama at convention in New York City

Josh Duhamel gets a bunny gig; Willie Geist and Tamron Hall wake up Matt LeBlanc; Jimmy Kimmel and Molly McNearney welcome a daughter

It was a star studded affair at the LULAC Convention on Thursday at the New York Hilton Midtown, where First Lady Michelle Obama (in a sleeveless Tanya Taylor frock) addressed the League of United Latin American Citizens, the oldest Hispanic organization in the U.S., during her stay in New York City.

It just so happened that the group’s organizers learned Jennifer Lopez was going to be in the building at the same time, to introduce “Los Jets,” a reality show about a struggling high school soccer team premiering on Nuvo next week. The group asked J.Lo if she would stop by for a quick appearance to introduce Obama and the diva happily obliged.

The two leading ladies embraced on stage with a big hug and even took time out for a selfie. J.Lo also talked with us about her charmed life, saying, “I take one day at a time and I have a lot of help.”
DUHAMEL HAS HIP HOPS

Now that he’s a father, Josh Duhamel has really gotten into the mind — and imagination — of a child. The “Safe Haven” actor began his duties as celebrity ambassador for Jumpstart in style, wearing a head-to-paw pink bunny costume at a Venice Beach event promoting reading to children. Duhamel has a 10-month-old son, Axl, with wife Fergie.
